Under Armour Combine Recap: Atlanta

Under Armour Combine Recap: Atlanta

On Sunday, April 26, the Under Armour Combines Tour headed down South for a stop at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, home of the Falcons.

This Under Armour Combine was the largest yet, with 245 red-and-black clad superstars taking the field in what felt like Under Armour Stadium, with 72,000 red seats under the Dome.

Offense was aplenty at the Combine, led by 2010 Under Armour All-America receiver Markeith Ambles. Facing off against fellow All-American Alec Ogletree in 1-on-1 and skelly drills, Ambles showed why he'll be in Orlando this January.

Brandon Bourbon impressed during the Combine with stellar times in both the 3-Cone and 40-yard dash. Colby Brown also raised eyebrows in the two drills, capping off a strong day of testing overall.

Featuring Under Armour Combine Coaches George Teague, Michael Dean Perry and Eric Metcalf, the athletes were able to learn from some of the best and measure themselves at this point in their playing careers.

The Tour hit its last stop of the 2009 season on May 1st in Baltimore. Be sure to check back this week for updates from M&T Bank Stadium.
